Singer Julie Budd will perform at Thommie Walsh scholarship fundraiser

Singer and actress Julie Budd will bring her show "Center Stage: Those Fabulous Broadway Musicals" to Auburn for a benefit concert. The show will be 8 p.m. May 2 at Merry-Go-Round Playhouse in Emerson Park, 6877 E. Lake Road, Auburn. The singer is helping to raise money for the Thommie Walsh Education Scholarship.

The play "Dear Mom" puts the words and feelings of daughters about their mothers on the Auburn Public Theater stage, Thursday through March 8. "Dear Mom" is based on letters daughters, from 18 to 88 years old and from across the world, wrote to their mothers.
